Giant Dog saves woman from happy life

It makes me sad that this dog is so indifferent to this woman's beige sweater. Can't he see she is trying to be noticed? Is he so self-absorbed, that he can't even notice her doting vampiric glances?
Alas, the ways of Giant Dogs are terrible. Emotionally distant, vociferous and disposed to vacillating mood; they defy the bounds of decency and the rules of proper capitalization.
